Episcopal church mission group helps local Nonprofits

Bluefield, WV (WVVA) – More than 25 teens and adults have helped the Bluefield community this week for their 2019 mission trip.

Members of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church from Lebanon, PA arrived earlier this week in Bluefield to help complete service projects for the community. They have been working with the Wade Center and the Bluefield Union Mission.

The group will continue to serve the community through Friday.

Their visit is through the Highland education project, which is an outreach ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of the State.

For information about the group or to see them in action, contact Chad Slater (304-543-5296) with Christ Episcopal Church in Bluefield or one of the service organizations.
