WV State Police seeking new recruits

The West Virginia State Police are seeking new recruits. Applicants must fill out an application, pass a physical test, then pass a fourteen-minute written test and then pas a suitability test. According to the WV State Police the suitability test consists of some reading, writing and mathematical skill abilities as well as the completion of personal and life history information

Test dates are August 25th, 27th and 29th and September 7th and 8th. Tests take place at 9 AM on each testing day.

The WV State Police website also says you must be at least 21 years of age and no more than 39 years of age prior to enlistment, and possess a high school diploma or GED. You also must have a valid driver’s license for two years prior to making application. Applicants may test at the age of 20 with the understanding that they will be 21 prior to the tentative enlisted date of January 7, 2019.
