Suspected drug dealer arrested in Greenbrier County

GREENBRIER COUNTY – A Detroit man wanted on drug trafficking charges was arrested in Greenbrier County on Monday.

Deputies with the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office assisted members of the Greenbrier Valley Drug and Violent Crime Task Force in the arrest of D’Andre Lee Mathis, 28, in Fort Springs, WV.

Mathis was indicted in January on federal charges for distribution of oxymorphone. When he was arrested on Monday, Mathis was in possession of oxymorphone pills, a large quantity of cash and a stolen handgun.

Mathis was arraigned in Magistrate Court and taken to Southern Regional Jail.
