2 dead in ATV crash

(WVVA) Two people have died in an ATV crash in Fayette County.

According to Sheriff Mike Fridley, the call came in around 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday of a man and woman lying in the roadway on Deepwater Mountain Road (WV 61) in the Loop Creek area.

The victims were unresponsive. One was flown to Charleston Area Medical Center for treatment. Both later died from their injuries.

Emergency workers were able to determine the man and woman were victims of an ATV crash. They’ve been identified as Nathan Clement, 39, of Robson, WV and Tina Frazier, 48, of Ohio.

Sheriff Fridley said the victims were not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
