Raleigh County woman arrested for Attempted Murder

BECKLEY, W.Va. (WVVA) A woman is formally charged after stabbing a man on September 23, 2018.

The complaint said Ashley McMillion of Fairdale and several other suspects went into a man’s house in Glen Daniel and told the home owner they were going to kill him.

McMillion then stabbed the victim in the throat and beat him to near death, the complaint read. It said the victim had severe lacerations to the head.

In the complaint, deputies said the suspect’s purse was also found by police lying next to the bed where the complaint said the victim reported being attacked and inside was a pill bottle with McMillion’s name.

McMillion was charged with Malicious Wounding, Attempted Murder, Daytime Burglary, and Conspiracy to Commit a felony.

She’s being held in Southern Regional Jail (SRJ) on a $75,000 bond.
