Oak Hill man turns himself in, faces charges from multiple incidents

An Oak Hill man is in jail on charges stemming from multiple incidents after turning himself in.

Sheriff Mike Fridley says Daemien Thompson, 33 had an active bench warrant issued by the Circuit Court of Fayette County.

Thompson was charged with domestic battery and assault, burning after curfew, destruction of property and felony strangulation stemming from a domestic incident that occurred in the Mount Hope area on November 29th.

Thompson also faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance and a charge of terroristic threats from two other incidents. His bond was set at $10,000 but he is currently being held in Southern Regional Jail on the bench warrant.
