Benefit dinner and silent auction for Summers County child

(WVVA) There is a steak dinner and silent auction taking place this weekend in Talcott to benefit a local child who is recovering from heart surgery.

Proceeds will benefit the family of Noah Smith. Part of his recovery includes frequent trips to Pittsburgh.

The dinner/ auction will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 8 at Talcott Elementary School. The price is $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 6-12. Children under 5 eat for free with paying adult.

Volunteers are still needed and donations of new, handmade or antique items are still being accepted for the auction. Contact Sarina at 304-661-4252 or Janet at 304-661-2066 for more information.

Monetary donations can be made to the Noah Smith Foundation at any Bank of Monroe location.
