UPDATE: 3 shot in Bluefield, including suspected gunman

Police in Bluefield, West Virginia identified the man who they said shot two people Wednesday night.

The shooting happened at a home on Albermarle Street.

Police said there were five people inside at the time. One person inside the home was shot. The incident continued into an ally in front of the residence.

One individual at the home was able to retrieve a weapon and shot the suspected gunman, identified as 32-year-old Terrance Williams.

An intervening neighbor was also shot.

Williams and the two victims were taken to Bluefield Regional Medical Center. One victim remains hospitalized and the other has since been released.

Williams was transported to Roanoke Memorial Hospital and is listed in critical condition. Police said he also suffers from mental health issues.
