City of Lewisburg to hold surplus auction

(Lewisburg) The city of Lewisburg is hosting a surplus auction on January 24th.

Lewisburg Public Works Director Roger Pence says you can make an appointment with Lewisburg Public Works to come by to check out the auction items in advance.

Below is a list of some of the items. Pence said there are a lot of cars because the city has started replacing the city vehicles it is selling with leased units.

Item 1-200 Ford Ranger, 2 wd, 2.5 4 cylinder, automatic, good tires, recent oil change and brakes, 87,261 miles (Reconstructed vehicle)
Item 2-2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 4X4, 4.0 6 cylinder, automatic, 153,278 miles
Item 3-2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2 wd, 4.8 L V 8, automatic, 101,500 miles
Item 4-2002 Dodge 3500 Truck, 4X4, 5.9 Cummings Turbo Diesel, newer automatic transmission, utility box bed, snow plow, light bar, tire chains included, 64,154
Item 5-2003 Ford Explorer, 4X4, 4.0 (engine locked up), hole in gas tank, automatic, 106,000
Item 6-2007 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, 4X4, 6.6 Turbo Diesel, automatic Allison transmission, insight trailer brake controller, DPF Delete, Utility box bed, plow harness and plow frame brackets, light bar included, new EGR cooler, 74,217 miles
