Bluefield shooting suspect released from hospital, arraigned

MERCER COUNTY, WV (WVVA) A Bluefield man accused of shooting two people at a residence on Albermarle Street has been arraigned on multiple charges.

Terrance Williams, 32, was also shot during the incident. He was released from the hospital on Friday.

Williams was charged with malicious wounding, wanton endangerment, and attempt to commit a felony. His bail was set at $50,000 cash-only.

Police said on the night of January 2 Williams opened fire on five people inside a home, hitting one person. The incident continued outside the residence where one individual was able to return fire, striking Williams.

A neighbor who was unaware of the full situation attempted to check on Williams’ condition and was shot.

Everyone survived the shootings.

The arraignment was held in front of Magistrate Susan Honaker.
