Arson suspected in church fire, reward offered

RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WVVA) Investigators say a fire was deliberately set at a church in Raleigh County.

The fire broke out around 1:00 a.m. Sunday, March 3 at Freedom Ministries on Grandview Road. There were no injuries.

According to the State Fire Marshal’s Office, the cause of the fire was determined to be arson.

No arrests have been made.

There is now a $5,000 reward for information that “leads to the arrest and conviction of an arsonist.”
