Hammer & Stain honor veterans

Hammer & Stain in Princeton, WV is honoring veterans.

The do-it-yourself workshop on Mercer Street holds specialized events, such as Veteran’s Night, once a month.

Veterans have the choice to paint custom-made stencils related to all branches of the military.

Lisa Christian, co-owner of Hammer & Stain, says it’s important to honor our troops. “My dad’s a veteran and he served in Vietnam. I think the conception for Hammer and Stain sometimes is that it’s a girly thing and we like to give back to the community and we like to invite all types of people to come and enjoy Hammer and Stain. We like to recognize that we’re proud of our veterans.”
