Today is not your ordinary Monday because it’s “Tax Day.”
If you haven’t filed your taxes for the 2018 year, you have until midnight to file.
The IRS is expecting to file about $153 million individual tax returns for 2018.
This tax year was unique for most Americans due to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, which nearly doubled standard deductions.
But one change with the tax reform will go into effect for the 2019 tax year, elimination of the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate penalty.
