The Mercer County Sheriff’s Dept. says a Princeton woman was arrested Tuesday after an investigation revealed she was using Facebook to send child porn.
Elizabeth Haway, 42, faces several charges after a search of her residence revealed she was sharing child porn online.
The warrant was executed after The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a tip from Facebook indicating a Facebook user was distributing child porn.
The investigation, conducted by Detective-Sergeant S. A. Sommers, an investigator with the WV Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, revealed Haway sent videos of child pornography through Facebook messenger and committed several other sexually motivated offenses.
Her charges include: use of a minor to produce obscene matter, use of a minor in filming sexually explicit conduct, distribution of material depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, sexual assault in the 1st degree, sexual abuse in the 1st degree, sexual abuse by a parent, distributing material by a parent depicting a child engaged in sexually explicit conduct, incest.
Haway was arraigned and transported to Southern Regional Jail.
