Alorica accepting applications, Intuit’s Customer Success Center in Bluefield

Applicants in the City of Bluefield may be on their way to hearing two magic words, “you’re hired.”

Alorica held a hiring event today at the Bluefield Arts Center to fill between 200-500 customer service positions.

Alorica has partnered with Intuit to hire candidates for the Customer Success Center in Bluefield, which will be part of a prosperity hub downtown.

The event started at 10 a.m. and at least 150 people showed up,hoping to join the Intuit/Alorica team.

“We had a bigger turn-out then we expected,” said Jeff Luttrell, Senior Director of Talent Acquisition for Alorica. “We are meeting and interviewing all applicants and they’ll know if they’re offered a position by Friday.”

Alorica and Intuit are teaming up on June 20 for a “Lemonade Block Party,” which will take place in front of Intuit’s temporary location on Commerce Street in Bluefield.

Interested applicants can also apply for the customer service position during the block party.
