RICHLANDS, VA (WVVA) — Coming together in good and bad times is something the motorcycle community does best.

Wednesday, it was in honor of a fallen brother taken too soon at the hands of another driver.

Now, the motorcycle community is using the opportunity to take him on one final ride and raise awareness to keep motorcyclists safe.

Billi Patterson, President of Hustle Hard says, “Make sure there’s not that little headlight coming down the road somewhere… or somebody loses a father, somebody loses a husband or a mother and we end up with just like what we have today.”

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, over 5,000 motorcyclists died in crashes in 2017.
