Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

The Mercer County Community is coming together to honor two of its own through “Ride for WV.” The ‘W’ stands for ‘Webster’ in Tony Webster, Jr, and the ‘V’ in Varney for Lindsey Varney.

Princeton’s Varney passed away after a battle with cancer, and Bluefield’s Webster died after working out.

The Ride is taking place Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Grand Home Furnishings located at 206 Oakvale Rd. in Princeton. If you’re riding a bike, you’re asked to show up at 10:30 a.m.

Bike and passenger fee is $25. Call 304-308-1272 for more information.

You can also pre-order t-shirts honoring Lindsey and ‘Lil’ Tony at Saturday’s event.
