Foul play not indicated in death of man found by W.Va. creek

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — Authorities in West Virginia say they have found a dead man in a wooded area near Deckers Creek.

Morgantown police say they found the man Wednesday morning after responding to a report of an unresponsive man at the Deckers Creek Rail Trail near Elk Street.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials found no indications of foul play but say the investigation is ongoing.

Authorities didn’t immediately release the man’s name.
