The holiday season usually mean Winter Break for college students, but the basketball players at Concord have one more game before they can relax. But with final exams in the rear-view mirror, the focus can shift completely to basketball.

“I always tell them that this is the best time of the year,” women’s head coach Kenny Osborne said. “They’re kind of like a professional athlete … But when I recruit them, I always tell them that this is the time of the year that you can’t put a dollar value on the friendships you make.”

The Mountain Lions will tip off a double-header against West Virginia Wesleyan beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
