Concord hosted Shepherd on Thursday night in an MEC doubleheader. The women opened up play at the Carter Center with a 80-56 win. Both Madison May and Riley Fitzwater scored at least 20 points as the team moves to 5-2 in conference play.

The men were not as fortunate, as the Rams dropped 57 second-half points to win 90-74. Tommy Bolte put up a season-high 42 points, but it still wasn’t enough.

Both squads will return to action against Fairmont State on Saturday.
