A pair of Hokies earn All-ACC honors

Virginia Tech’s Kerry Blackshear Jr. and Nickeil Alexander-Walker were both named to the All-ACC teams, the league released Monday.

Blackshear Jr. earned the votes to land him on the second team. He averaged 14.5 points per game, which ranks second on the team, and more than seven rebounds. Alexander-Walker earned third-team recognition after leading the Hokies in scoring with 16.6 points per game.

Virginia Tech will play the winner of Wake Forest and Miami on Wednesday in the second round of the ACC Tournament.
