Two local athletes land on All-Region 2D girls basketball teams

On Monday, a pair of Southwest District girls basketball players were named to the All-Region 2D second team.

Richlands guard Lauren Earls earned her first all-region honor after helping the Lady Blues to a 9-13 overall record as a junior. Tazewell’s Lydia Lambert joins Earls on the second team. Lambert was a force down low for the Lady Bulldogs in her junior campaign.
