Bowen Field was the site for Thursday evening’s Coppinger Tournament semifinals.

Graham hosted Princeton in the first game of the evening. The Tigers took an early 1-0 lead on a G-Men throwing error. They would also score at least one run in each of the next four innings to take a decisive 10-2 lead into the fifth.

The G-Men managed one more run in that frame, but ultimately fell, 10-3.

In the second semifinal, Tazewell and Richlands battled in an all-Virginia matchup. Bulldogs pitcher Austin Parker struck out the side in the first inning and the offense took over from there.

Tazewell shuts out Richlands, 10-0 in five innings.

Princeton and Tazewell will meet for the Coppinger Tournament championship at Bowen Field on Saturday at 1 p.m.
