It may not be fall, but it’s still football season.
“Well, ya know, you’re working every day to hone your craft and get better. Any time you have an opportunity to practice as a unit and practice your skill, it’s gonna make you better,” said Rams head coach Dewey Lusk.
The Rams have about a dozen practices under their belts as they prepare for the spring football game.
“There’s a lot of competition going on. These guys are trying to compete to get that starting position,” said linebacker DeMarcus Wimbush.
Perhaps no competition gets as much attention as the quarterback battle. With last year’s starter, Cason Whitt, graduating, the Rams are looking for their next signal-caller.
“We’ve got a good battle right now. One day it’s one guy. One day it’s the next guy. It’ll be interesting to see how that plays out,” Lusk said.
The Rams’ spring game will kickoff on Saturday, April 13th at 1:30PM.
