The Resort at Glade Springs prepares for NCAA DII Golf Championship

On Monday, the Resort at Glad Springs will become the sight of the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf National Championship.

The event is hosted by the Mountain East Conference, and it will feature 20 teams and additional individuals that will compete in a 54-hole tournament.

The individual round will begin on Monday, and the champion will be crowned on Wednesday.

Then on Thursday, the top eight teams will compete in match play, with a champion being crowned on Friday.

“The Cobb Course is a fantastic venue for an NCAA national championship. We’re very excited to be bringing student athletes from across the country — California, Florida, the Carolina’s — you name it. We’re bringing incredible student athletes from everywhere and we’re very confident that this outstanding golf course at the Resort at Glade Springs is going to deliver an outstanding experience,” said MEC commissioner, Reid Amos.

The event if free to attend.
