Huggins named to inaugural C-USA Hall of Fame class

This upcoming season will be the 25th anniversary of Conference USA. On Monday, the conference announced its inaugural Hall of Fame class, made up of 25 players, coaches and administrators.

Current West Virginia head men’s basketball coach, Bob Huggins, is one of the 25. Huggins coached at the University of Cincinnati for ten seasons (1995-2004) and compiled an overall record of 259-70.

Huggins was also named C-USA Coach of the Year three times, as well as National Coach of the Year in 1997-98. In addition, he led the Bearcats to the NCAA Tournament in each of his ten seasons, including an Elite Eight appearance in 1996.
