A strong ridge of high pressure will keep us company overnight tonight and into Wednesday, allowing for more fair weather. Tonight will be mostly clear and cool with lows in the 50s for most. Tomorrow will bring a mix of sun and clouds, with only the slim chance of a view showers/t-storms across southside VA into tomorrow afternoon. Highs tomorrow will be warmer thanks to southerly flow, in the upper 70s to mid 80s.
Our weather pattern will remain rather stagnant through the end of the work week and into Memorial Day Weekend. Temps will remain above normal, in the 80s during the day and in the 60s at night. Each day, we’ll have the chance to see a few PM isolated showers and thunderstorms due to weak disturbances in the vicinity, but no day is looking like a washout. A few severe storms may pop up by Thursday and Friday, especially in the northern portions of our area. Stay tuned!
