Starting off the morning about 10 to 15 degrees cooler than we did yesterday in the 50s and some areas are in the 40s. Have a light jacket with you to start off your morning, but you can shed the jacket in the afternoon. Our high temperatures today are slightly cooler than yesterday by a couple of degrees, still in the middle and upper 70s. As we head throughout the afternoon, temperatures will be in the mid-upper 60s. Pleasant day to take your lunch break outdoors, with mostly sunny skies. Overnight tonight, we have another cool night, temperatures still in the lower 50s.
Tomorrow looks to be the same pattern, but temperatures will be much warmer. Some areas will stay in the upper 70s, while a few spots will be back into the 80 degree temperature range. Scattered rain showers look to return tomorrow evening. A slight chance for a thunderstorm can’t be ruled out.
The first subtropical storm has arrived in the Atlantic Ocean. Subtropical Storm Andrea is moving northward now and winds are 40 mph. This afternoon it will shift to a northeasterly track and start to dissipate overnight tonight. Should not make landfall and there are no warnings/watches issued for the coast at this time.
Scattered rain showers looks to continue for Thursday and Friday with temperatures in the 80s. Memorial day weekend shows to have some scattered rain showers. Temperatures will be toasty- in the middle 80s for a few spots. Crossing fingers that most will stay dry for the weekend. Stay tuned!
