Temperatures to start off the morning are scattered in the 50s for most with a few lower 60s. As we head throughout the day today, most of us will have our temperatures in the mid-upper 70s… a few spots will hit that 80 degree mark today. The 80 degree temperatures will continue for the rest of our week, into the weekend, and even to start next week. After today, it will be a toasty and muggy rest of the week. Today we should be mostly dry, but as we head into the later afternoon we could start to see some pop up showers develop as we have our next weather system approach our area. Winds will gain a little more speed today and change direction for us now coming from the south at about 10 mph with gusts around 20-25 mph.
Tonight we should be seeing partly cloudy to mostly clear skies and after the pop up showers we will have a mostly dry night with comfortable temperatures in the lower 60s. Tomorrow we will have a mixed bag of weather events. We will see times of clouds and sunshine, while other times we have chances for scattered showers as well as an isolated thunderstorm to pop up in the forecast.
Dewpoints tomorrow raise into the lower and middle 60s helping us to start feeling a tad uncomfortable outside. Try to get the yard work done today, but wear the sunscreen! The UV index is around an 8 which is considered very high.
