Fall like temperatures continue into Monday; rain chances and temps increase into Tuesday

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Expect another below average day in regards to our temperatures. High temperatures this afternoon will get into the upper 60s to lower 70s. Luckily we are seeing much more sunshine than we saw Saturday, which is allowing for temperatures to be a tick warmer. Its a wonderful afternoon and evening for outdoor activities, especially sporting activities with a nice southeast breeze at around 5 to 10 mph.

Overnight, expect cooler temperatures in the upper 50s across most of the viewing area. Turn off the A/C if you can and maybe roll down a window tonight before you go to sleep, its a great night to do that.

For your Monday morning commute, make sure to have that jacket and or hoodie around before heading out to the upper 50s for temperatures. We could see some patchy fog develop in some of the valley areas, so make sure to give yourself some extra time just in case you run into that fog out there on the roads.

As we go into Monday afternoon, expect clouds to be on the increase, and much less sunshine than Sunday. This will yet again limit temperatures into the upper 60s and lower 70s for high temperatures Monday afternoon with the wedge pattern we are still in.

Tuesday is when we begin to break the wedge, and we begin to see more sunshine out ahead of a approaching cold front. So Tuesday, we will first increase temperatures closer to average, but also increase rain chances due to a slow moving cold front pushing into the region. After the front pushes through, expect lingering showers into Wednesday, and then mostly clear conditions for the rest of the week starting on Thursday.

Have a great Sunday afternoon and work week ahead.
