A taste of Fall through late week, warming into the weekend

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Cool high pressure sliding in from the north will allow temperatures to drop quite a bit over the next few days. This cooler air has already made its way into the area for some today, especially along and east of I-77 where a southeast wind/lingering clouds have been present. Tonight, clouds will continue to clear out, and low temps will fall into the upper 40s and low 50s, the coolest we’ve been in a while! Most of us will be able to give the A/C a break, especially with the lower humidity as well!

Besides some areas of fog through early Thursday morning, we look mainly sunny tomorrow with highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s, with again low dew points! Tomorrow evening will be cool and clear with lows in the 40s and 50s.

By Friday, temps will start to warm up again as high pressure shifts offshore. We look dry, but unseasonably warm into Saturday and Sunday with highs in the 80s. A cold front will move into the area early next week, bringing the chance of sct’d showers/storms Monday afternoon and into Tuesday.  However, this rain will be hit or miss still, and it will not do much to help out the abnormally dry conditions around our area just yet. Stay tuned!
