Funneling drier and cooler air today; another cold burst of air arrives early next week

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

The light snow we encountered overnight is sticking to higher elevated surfaces such as vehicles, outdoor furniture and bushes. May need the ice scraper this morning as the snow is freezing into ice on the windshields.  We will continue to see dry weather funnel in with clouds gradually decreasing throughout the afternoon as high pressure builds back in.

Winds today will continue to be breezy with gusts hitting 25-30mph this morning. Gradually weaken into the evening as the direction changes from northwest to mainly north. Temperatures today will be roughly 15-25 degrees cooler than yesterdays. Highs will be in the 30s with the lows overnight in the 20s again.

Saturday temperatures will reach in the 40s and 50s. Still having a cooler nights on tap with temperatures in the 30s. On Sunday and Monday we should have high temperatures heading back to seasonable. Throughout the weekend high pressure will stick around allowing a mostly sunny and dry weekend.

Our next frontal system will swing through early next week (timing is very wishy washy between models). So far, looks like another rain/snow/mix is possible as early as Monday night and continuing into Tuesday. Coldest air of the season is also likely Tuesday and into the workweek.
